Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA) Update
An update of the Rapid Environmental Assessment tool initially designed in 2004.
The REA was developed nearly 15 years ago and has not gone through a recent revision process. There are many lessons learned that can be used to improve the tool.
The goal is to simplify and streamline the process using 15 years of learning, to provide better links to the humanitarian programme cycle and mainstream issues such as climate change, resilience and protection.
